Q1: Which products suit a platen printing line?
A1: A platen line suits screen printing on apparel fabric, cut pieces (T-shirts, sportswear), webbing, socks, silicone labels, footwear materials and other flat substrates.
Q2: How does a platen printer compare with manual printing?
A2: It offers high-precision printing, batch-to-batch consistency, high output, lower labour cost and consistent graphics - especially for medium and large orders.
Q3: Which inks and materials can it print?
A3: It supports silicone, oil-based ink, plastisol, water-based ink, thermoset ink and metallic powder paste, matching different substrates and effects.
Q4: How many operators does a platen line need?
A4: Depending on configuration, two to three people usually cover feeding, registration, printing and collection - a big gain in labour efficiency.
Q5: Does a platen line support multi-colour printing?
A5: Yes. Change the screen to print multiple colours and multiple passes, suitable for complex graphics and gradients.
Q6: Can platen size be customised?
A6: Yes. Standard widths such as 1080mm and 1480mm are available, and special sizes can be built to the customer's product specification.
Q7: What site conditions are required?
A7: A level, clean production area with enough space for the line and its operation, plus a stable power supply.
Q8: Do you provide installation and training?
A8: Yes. We provide installation guidance and operator training so your team can start quickly, with follow-up technical support and maintenance as needed.
Q9: Which upstream and downstream equipment can it connect to?
A9: The line integrates with automatic fabric spreading machines, walking dryers, automatic transfer platforms and automatic collecting machines to form one continuous production line.
Q10: How long is the warranty?
A10: One year free warranty from installation (wear parts excluded), with lifetime maintenance. After the warranty period a service agreement can be renewed to keep the same level of cover.
